Cinnabar Opera
We exist because of opera. Our founder, Marvin Klebe, an operatic baritone, needed to make a place for like-minded artists to create works of value that respect the needs and intelligence of both artist and audience. All operas are presented in English because we believe that the more deeply we communicate, the richer the work.

Ensemble Theater Collective
Our dramas are presented by Ensemble Theatre Collective (ETC). In the true nature of a collective, works take on a life of their own, erasing the lines between creator and creation until, in the end, everyone collectively owns the prize, artists and audience alike. Whether classical or cutting-edge, you will see the finest dramatic works presented with artistry and passion.

Cinnabar Young Rep
Now in its 24th year, The Young Rep never ceases to amaze. In addition to an award-winning, year-round drama education program, the Young Rep presents four fully staged productions per year. Students perform challenging plays, operettas and specially commissioned musicals, utilizing the same directors and designers as the professional company. The students’ commitment, talent and unbridled joy always delights.

Cinnabar Choral Ensembles
In a world where music is often merely background noise, there is an almost decadent pleasure in sitting quietly and relishing music for its own sake, allowing yourself to be transported to another world as the notes wrap themselves gently around your heart.

Petaluma Summer Music and Theater Festival
One of Petaluma’s most beloved traditions, the annual SMF, now in its 18th year, presents week after week of eclectic music for the delight of Cinnabar’s audiences. Instrumental and vocal performances by artists local, national and international, provide a dazzling program of music from Opera, Folk, International and Classical repertoires. This year, Cinnabar adds a theatrical element to the Festival with the world premiere of “Alice,” the most recent addition of commissioned musical works for the Cinnabar Young Rep.
